I was born near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Nashville in 1981.

I have two sons, two grandsons, and a husband so great I married him twice.

I am certified to teach Mathematics, History, Government, Economics, Sociology, and Psychology.

My first teaching position was in 1971. This is my 18th year in alternative education.
