My name is Mr. Glenn Clay. I have been a teacher in this district for nine years; this is my second year at Baxter Alternative Learning Center (ALC). I worked in the computer industry for fourteen years. I received my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology from Tennessee State University and my teacher licensure from David Lipscomb University. I am married and have one daughter. My wife, Ella, is a Cosmetologist/Entrepreneur; she owns and operates a hair salon.

Teaching is an awesome task to make an impact in a student’s life. This profession allows me to see the seeds I plant in the lives of my student’s sometimes germinate and produce immediately. I am dedicated to bringing out the best in all my students’. I firmly believe in mutual respect, the teacher to the student’s and parent’s and vice versa.
