The administration and faculty of Baxter Alternative Learning Center nelieve that all activities should be conducted in a safe and orderly environment that is conducive to academic achievement and learning. To ensure and maintain an educational climate free from disturbances, fair and consistent policies and procedures outlining student conduct have been developed. Various methods and strategies are also utilized that reinforce positive behavior that will ensure a protected and organized learning environment. The students at Baxter ALC are not only taught core subject matter, but are also taught skills that equip them to become socially responsible and productive citizens. |
